The Book Club Play

a comedy by Karen Zacarías

When their cherished book club becomes the focus of a documentary film, five friends find that the camera’s gaze forces them to read between the lines of their own relationships.

And also forces them to read Twilight.

What makes a book worth reading? Is it literary and historical significance? Or is it wine, snacks, and a chance to share something with the people you love?

runs April 18 - May 10.

The Book Club Play contains some adult language and themes.

There are thirteen performances, including eleven regular and two pay-what-you-can performances. Scroll down to select your performance date.

Bring gently used books to the show and drop them off at the little free library in our lobby (and feel free to take one home with you!). After the show closes, any books remaining on our shelf will go to the Friends of the Rapid City Library to help in their mission of making reading accessible to everyone in our community.
